Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an Interior Designer?

Undergoing renovation work in your home or planning for a new home may seem like it's just a case of choosing some lovely paint colours or some gorgeous bathroom tiles however there are many layers which require careful consideration. Having a trained professional ensures that every detail is taken care of. We spend time scrutinising lighting plans, bathroom layouts and all the technical details so you don't have to! Employing an Interior Designer also means you get access to exclusive discounts and suppliers which we have great working relationships with.

What happens during the design process?

Step One: We book in a call to discuss your requirements. We kindly ask that you send a floor plan and pictures of your home so we can get a feel for the scope of works. If you do not have a floor plan already, we will create this for you after our survey.

Step Two: Site Visit - we will visit you in your home to review the space.

Step Three: A quote will be issued for the design work to be carried out. We will also obtain quotes from relevant tradespeople if required.

Step Four: Once the quote is accepted and the deposit is paid, we will carry out a survey where we take all measurements and then we can begin working on your designs and put together a programme of works.

Step Five: We will present our design proposal to you and discuss any amendments.

Step Six: Works begin

Step Seven: Regular site visits to review progress.

Step Eight: Pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate completion!

I've already started my renovation, can you help?

Of course! We always recommend having an Interior Designer involved right from the beginning HOWEVER, all hope is not lost if you have begun your project and it has suddenly become completely overwhelming. We are always open to discussing how we can best assist you.

Why do I need to tell you my budget?

It is very important to have a budget in mind before entering the design process. This helps us to manage expectations and recommend the best service for you. We can advise where your money is best spent and which areas to prioritise as well as which brands/suppliers are best suited to you. We want to make this process as enjoyable and stress free as possible and having financial transparency from the offset is a great way to ensure everyone is on the same page.
